Recruitment Privacy Notice - Learn in Curve
This is the notice UK GDPR expects you to give job applicants specifically - a separate requirement from the general Privacy Policy, because the data subject here is a candidate, not a customer. Applies to any role listed in the site footer.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
What this covers
If you apply for a role at Learn in Curve (currently via emailing support@learnincurve.com per the Careers section), this notice explains what happens to the personal data in your application.
What we collect
Whatever you send us - typically your CV, a cover note, and your email address and name. We don't currently use an applicant-tracking system or ask for anything beyond what you choose to include.
Why, and on what basis
To assess your suitability for the role and contact you about your application - this is "necessary for steps prior to entering into a contract" under UK GDPR, which doesn't require your separate consent.
How long we keep it
We keep applications for 6 months after a role is filled (or after the application, if the role isn't filled), then delete them - long enough to reconsider a strong candidate for a similar future role and to defend against a discrimination claim within the usual time limit, without keeping CVs in an inbox indefinitely.
Who sees it
Only whoever's involved in hiring for that specific role - not shared with any third party, and not used for any automated decision-making.
Your rights
Same as anyone else's under UK GDPR - access, correction, deletion, etc. See the main Privacy Policy section 7, or just email support@learnincurve.com.
