Cookie Notice - Learn in Curve
Kept separate from the Privacy Policy (section 3 there duplicates this) so it can be linked directly from a footer "Cookies" link without making people read the whole privacy policy to find it.

What we use today
One cookie today: Supabase's authentication session cookie, which keeps you signed in between visits.
Intercom Messenger is wired in code but only boots when its App ID is set in production. Until then, no Intercom script loads and no Intercom cookies are set. Once that App ID is added, Intercom may set its own non-essential cookies for the messenger - this notice and the on-site cookie banner will be updated before that goes live, not after.
Absent Intercom being live, the Supabase session cookie is still "strictly
necessary" - the site can't keep you signed in without it - so under current
UK/EU rules we don't need a consent choice for it alone. We still show a
short on-site cookie notice (paper card, bottom of the screen) so you can
read this page and acknowledge you've seen it. That acknowledgement is stored
in your browser's local storage (lic_cookie_notice_v1), not as a tracking
cookie.
If that changes
If we ever add analytics (even privacy-friendly, cookie-light analytics), turn on Intercom in production, or add any other non-essential cookie, this page and the banner will be updated before that cookie is ever set — including real accept / reject choices where the law requires them.
Controlling cookies yourself
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; doing so for the session cookie will just sign you out.
